Representatives of the Public Monitoring Commission (POC) discovered violations of the law in the conditions of detention of defenders of an apple orchard on Slavyansky Boulevard, who were detained for two days. PMC member Eva Merkacheva told OVD-Info about this.
"Everything is sad. None of the women (who had children under the age of 14) were released. Tomorrow (Moscow Human Rights Ombudsman) Tatyana Potyaeva will come to the department. The detainees were not fed, the mattresses were bad, it was very hot,” Merkacheva clarified. The police allowed POC representatives into the department only half an hour after they arrived at the department.
Seven defenders of an apple orchard on Slavyansky Boulevard, who were detained on the afternoon of December 27, are being held at the Fili-Davydkovo police station.
