VTB starts working on a preferential car loan program 2021

Starting January 1, VTB will begin issuing loans under the renewed state program of preferential car loans. Customers will be able to purchase on credit a car manufactured in 2021, the price of which does not exceed 1.5 million rubles, at a discount. The discount from the cost of the vehicle will be 10%, for the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District - 25%.

“In the past year, state subsidies played a decisive role in restoring demand for cars during the pandemic. The program supported not only the population, but also automakers, and managed to save jobs. In 2020, more than 22,000 customers were able to purchase vehicles at VTB on preferential terms in the amount of 13.4 billion rubles. Today, every second car loan is issued within the framework of the state program. Realizing the particular importance of providing preferential terms for the population and the pent-up demand that has emerged during the pandemic, VTB will begin accepting applications and issuing car loans at all partner car dealerships from January 1, ”commented Ivan Zhigarev, head of the Car Loan Department at VTB Bank.

According to the results of 2020, the average cost of a vehicle under state support amounted to 878 thousand rubles. The leaders in this segment are LADA, Hyundai and KIA, which account for about 90% of all sales.

In the new year, cars produced from December 1, 2020 will be subsidized, and preferential lending terms will continue to be valid for families with one or more minor children, for citizens who purchase a car for the first time, employees of medical organizations and customers who, for the purchase Vehicles will trade-in a vehicle they own that is older than six years, provided they have owned it for at least one year.

The program provides a 10% discount on the cost of the car. On the territory of the Far Eastern Federal District, its rate is 25% in the presence of registration at the place of residence, or registration at the place of temporary residence on the territory of the Far Eastern Federal District.

The maximum cost of the vehicle should not exceed 1.5 million rubles, possible brands for the purchase: LADA, UAZ, GAZ, Kia, Hyundai, Renault. VTB is in the TOP-3 leaders of the Russian car loan market. For 11 months of 2020, the bank issued more than 82.8 thousand car loans in the amount of 71 billion rubles.
