Seven more Novosibirsk residents died from coronavirus

The number of patients with coronavirus in the Novosibirsk region exceeded 28 thousand. At least seven patients died per day.

“Seven more patients have died: men aged 56, 62, 64, 70 and 82, and women aged 61 and 71. In total, 974 people died from coronavirus in the region, ”the operational headquarters of the Novosibirsk Region reported on January 1.

Another 147 patients are in intensive care. Their number increased by 16 per day. 24 people remain on ventilators.

152 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed per day. The total official number of cases reached 28,037, 24,240 people were discharged.

There are 2,638 Novosibirsk residents in hospitals in the region with suspected coronavirus or already confirmed diagnosis. Among them are four children.
