The court acquitted the teacher whose students protested due to the reorganization of the college

A teacher from Buryatia, who was accused of conducting a rally against the reorganization of the college and involving minor students, was fully acquitted by the Supreme Court of the Republic. This was reported by Siberia. MBH Media »Lawyer of the teacher Nadezhda Nizovkin.

In October 2020, the leadership of the Buryat Agrarian College named after M. N. Erbanov became known about plans to reorganize an educational institution, allegedly uniting it with the Baikal College of subsoil use. As a result of such a decision, students could lose their seats in dormitories and diplomas of the established form.

According to Nizovkina, the teacher of Tuyan Tsydympilova, having learned about the plans, considered it necessary to inform students. She organized a meeting with students, as a result of which they went out together to the courtyard of the educational institution with posters against reorganization.

“It lasted literally a minute, Tsydympilova herself did not announce the rally, did not invite the press, did not send out the releases. Students were not forced. They gave explanations in the absence of a defender, under the threat of imputing by himself an administrative offense. And even in such conditions, they did not declare neither coercion nor deception, ”Nizovkina said.

Tsydympilov was immediately accused under three articles: the organization of a rally, forced involvement of minor students and a violation of measures related to the epidemiological situation - part 1.1, part 2 of article 20.2 and Art. 20.6.1 Administrative Code. Earlier, the Oktyabrsky District Court fined her a thousand rubles for non -compliance with “coronavirus” measures, but the Supreme Court canceled this decision.

After the held action and coverage of the situation in the local media, plans for reorganization were suspended. The Buryatia government reported that the college unification was at the level of the idea, there were no specific decisions on this subject.
