Lenenergo compiled a list of substations at which graffiti can be placed

Rosseti Lenenergo compiled a list of transformer substations, at which street artists are allowed to place their drawings. It included 43 objects, reports Fontanka with reference to the author of the bill on the protection of Graffiti Denis Cetros.

The company emphasized that they do not object to the placement of graffiti on facilities from the list if the authors follow the official approval procedure. At the same time, the organizations noted that they do not have material and personnel resources in order to monitor the content of the drawings - the artists themselves should do this.

In Rosseti Lenenergo, they warned that if the author of graffiti or street art could not follow their condition, then he is undertaken to erase the image.

In September 2020, Deputy Zaks Denis Cetrobok announced the introduction of a moratorium on painting graffiti on the walls of apartment buildings in St. Petersburg. “Paper” said that it was known about the initiative and that street artists think about it.
