Roskomnadzor from Saratov saw a mat in the name of the Mexican city

The regional unit of the supervisory authority demanded that IA “Free News” delete the user's commentary with the mention of Ojuelos under the game of the “City”, which was held by the new year.

Roskomnadzor in the Saratov region demanded from the Free News IA to delete the user comment from the site, which contains, according to the agency, obscene abuse.

This was reported by the publication itself, also clarifying that before the New Year it held a game in the “cities”, and one of the participants under the nickname “Mexican Pedro” mentioned several Mexican cities, including Okhuelos de Khalisco (in the Spanish Ojuelos de Jalisco).

The supervisory authority considered the word ojuelos obscene and sent an official letter to the editorial office demanding to get rid of the “seditious” commentary of the Saratov Erudite.

The leadership of Free News asked the head of the regional Roskomnadzor Roman Chuychenko to comment on what had happened, he promised to "understand the situation."

The editors of the site deleted the user's commentary, noting that she did this at the request of Roskomnadzor.
