In 2021, a mobile application for "digital twins" of frequently used documents will be launched in test mode in Russia. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
“A person will be able to store an identity card, driver’s license, PTS (vehicle passport — approx. Meduza), a certificate of registration at the place of residence in his mobile phone,” the Kremlin’s website quoted Chernyshenko as saying.
At the meeting, Chernyshenko also said that by the end of 2021, 160 public services would be transferred to electronic form.
We are talking, among other things, about the execution of all documents at the birth of a child, appealing traffic police fines, remote conclusion of an employment contract, the official specified.
