Mash: Navalny put on wanted list

Alexei Navalny was put on the wanted list on December 29, 2020. Mash reports this, citing a photo of the resolution of the Federal Penitentiary Service. There is no official confirmation of this information.

As stated in the document published by Mash, the politician “does not fulfill the duties assigned to him by the court” and “evades the control of the penal inspection” by not returning from Germany after treatment. We are talking about duties within the framework of the probationary period in the Yves Rocher case. The five-year probation period that the politician was assigned in the case expired on December 30, 2020. The document states that once the location of the politician is established, measures should be taken to detain him.

On January 12, the Federal Penitentiary Service demanded that Navalny’s suspended sentence, assigned in the Yves Rocher case, be replaced with a real one.

Previously, Navalny announced his return to Russia on January 17. Soon after this, it became known that on January 29, the Simonovsky District Court of Moscow would consider the FSIN’s submission to change the term. Then it turned out that in Moscow they resumed the suspended trial in the case against Navalny for slandering a veteran. The hearing on the libel case is scheduled to take place on January 20.

At the end of December, a case of fraud on an especially large scale was alsoopened against Navalny. According to investigators, Navalny spent donations for personal purposes in favor of the Anti-Corruption Foundation and other organizations associated with the politician.

Oleg was sentenced to three and a half years of real life, Alexey - to three and a half years of probation. According to investigators, the brothers stole more than 26 million rubles from the Yves Rocher Vostok company and more than four million rubles from the Multidisciplinary Processing Company. Back in 2013, Yves Rocher provided the Investigative Committee with a report according to which no damage was caused to the company.
