You can do without a piece of paper - usually there is enough self -censorship. The “Match TV” has long agreed that the commentators and the presenters are possible, and what is impossible - those who did not understand have not been working there for a long time.

But there is always space for the introduction of some new restrictions. Not so long ago, such stamps as “a goal in the locker room” were prohibited for “Match TV”, and the like. Today, the authorities went further, guided by the good goal: the channel, on the one hand, is specific, where you can’t do without special terms, on the other, it is also publicly available, so with borrowing, especially with English and derivatives of them, we must be more careful.

It seems that the normal message: verbal garbage is really a bit too much, a certain balance is necessary, but how to observe it if the language is all the time in motion? He is not imprisoned in a capsule that does not have outputs and entrances? At the household level, it is generally impossible to regulate something, legally prohibited use of non-normative vocabulary only hits the media, but there are also corporate impact instruments on a particular occasion. Strong concingence with the issues of linguistics from the late times of I.V. Stalin is a sign of close reformatting of the regime, but I leave this topic to historians, political scientists and conspiracygists.

If you return to our rams, then the Miller's List was very strange. Such words as an arbiter, out, scorer, boots, goal, goalkeeper, derby, dribbling, double, court, match, pass, penalty, sniper, sprint, fint, foul, forward, championship and champion, which have long become commonly based on are included in the list of permitted. I can confirm what was said by the fact that almost half a century ago all these terms appeared in my course work at the journalism faculty dedicated to borrowing in sports vocabulary. Match TV employees should especially thank the compilers of the memo for the permitted “goal”, “championship” and “match”, otherwise it would have to be urgently changed the sign, not to mention everything else.

The term "Korner" got both on the list of permitted and on the list of unacceptable use on the air, which personally offended me very much. “Three cores are a pencil case” - from childhood, but the “corner” has long become “corner”, but you go - it was allowed again and at the same time forbidden. The concept of "derby" for an unknown reason fell into the allowed column and in the column limitedly permissible. The word “role”, according to the authors, is permissible “only in a specialized explanatory context” - I imagine how to dodge commentators in order to explain each time that such an role is actually.

Worst of all, of course, with these very works. The “beaks” of the defenders have not been called for a long time, but what, for example, “Kiper” and “Goleador” have been guilty? Who then Ronaldo and Lewandowski, if not Goleadors, especially since the word has long been Russified as a derivative of a “goal”? Even with a forbidden “coach” there is an explanation - yes, there is a Russian analogue, but since Russia has become full of foreign coaches, as well as players (and not only in football), the word if it has not become common, then close to that. Such heterogeneous and completely took root borrowings as “Okay”, “Luser”, “performance”, “Short List”, “Stopper”, “Championship” were also subjected to ostracism. It is generally incomprehensible with the latter-as the following English division is officially called for the Premier League, and there is no need to come up with the name an analogue.

Of course, using concepts such as “carpet-shadow”, “know-tach-Pass” and “midfielder”, you have to answer for the bazaar. This also has its own reasons: tactics - and above all football - it becomes more sophisticated, we do not come up with new meanings in this area, which means that we do not call it. Previously, it happened, invented, only even if they called it, the Russian term would not enter the world. After all, we, except for towns and bast shoes, have nothing to brag about, except for the “Russian roulette”, but this “sport” is very specific.

They come up with - they introduce new concepts into everyday life, and our business is to accept the terms either as they are, or look for convenient analogues.

To look for laziness, and sometimes it is impossible to replace the word with something adequate, because even the forbidden “Anderdog” is not only an allowed “outsider”, but closer to a “dark horse”, and not a very like “assistant” is still shorter than the “shoe pass”.

It is possible to argue about a particular concept for a day, but, gives me up, there will be no sense of this. The world, and with it the language - in this case, is Russian - it changes so rapidly and inevitably that it is difficult to keep up with it. Sometimes I just do not understand my young colleagues-which does not mean at all that I am an incorrigible conservative, and they are such advanced “language users”.

One thing is understandable: there is nothing to achieve prohibitions, and the enlightenment is now not in fashion. Obscurantism is more likely, and against this background, other prohibitions look more caricatured than scary. But this is still not.

As for the highly specialized sports theme and an even narrower topic of using borrowings in the commentary and journalistic vocabulary, this is not more infuriated by this, but a wave of ordinary illiteracy gaining strength.

Yes, to take at least the beginning of the text on the sports Internet portal, which gave the beginning of this sports and philological discussion: “Journalist and writer Stanislav Gridasov in his telegram channel told a new knowledge about the Chairman of the Board of Gazprom ...”.
