Activist Yevgeny Mishchenko, who was on duty at the Boris Nemtsov memorial, was detained in Moscow. He himself told OVD-Info about this.
The employees motivated the detention by the fact that Mishchenko is listed in a certain base in connection with an unpaid fine of 10 thousand rubles, imposed for a picket in support of anarchist Azat Miftakhov. As Mishchenko himself explained, he did not pay the fine due to an error on the Gosuslugi website. The site stated that the picketer had to pay 15,000 rubles, and the service did not provide for the technical possibility to deposit the required amount on his own. Mishchenko wrote to technical support, and the unpaid fine disappeared from the activist's personal account.
The detainee was taken to the Kitai-Gorod police department. A week earlier, the activist had already been detained for the same reason. Then he wrote an explanatory note, explaining the essence of the error on the site, and he was released from the department, having drawn up a report.
January 15 0:27 Mishchenko was released from the department without a protocol being drawn up. He reported this to OVD-Info.
