He also sent information about his whereabouts in Germany only a month after his discharge from the Charite clinic. The FSIN statement said that the actual location of Navalny has been unknown to the service since September 24, and initial search activities began on November 27.”

Official confirmation of treatment at the hotel was not provided, and the fact of undergoing recovery procedures is not a reason for failure to appear for registration.
