Warmed tights, two pairs of socks, woolen sweaters for a turtleneck with a comb - this is an option for warm offices. In cold, they sit in down jackets and winter shoes.
The director of the freezing school No. 13 does not see the problem with a low temperature inside the classes. In a conversation with worried parents, Natalya Makurina emphasized that it is possible to heat the air in the offices by children's breath. Following her logic, it remains only to warm the batteries with your body, and you can calmly rush into the world of knowledge.
“My son goes to first grade,” said Ekaterina Kapustina, a resident of Asbesta. - In the office where the first -graders study, it is unbearably cold. He has bronchial asthma, so the consequences of hypothermia for health can be serious.
Not only the son of Catherine complained to the cold. On the third academic day after the New Year holidays, alarmed parents and other students came to the school. Together they measured the temperature: the thermometer showed that in the classroom, where first -graders spend all day, it is less than 14 degrees of heat. If you climb into the offices on the second floor of the school, then there is a little warmer there - about 16 degrees.

“Children are sitting in 4-5 lessons in cold classes,” explains Catherine. - They almost do not move, freeze even in winter shoes. Other parents and I immediately addressed this problem to the leadership of the school.
But the director’s reaction was not quite the one that could be expected.
She advised to measure the temperature not in the morning, but in the afternoon, in order to allow air in the rooms to heat up due to children's respiration.
The head of the educational institution also assured that she had called a commission that would figure out where the heat loss is underway.
Today, discouraged parents wrote a collective letter to the governor of the Sverdlovsk region and an application to the regional Rospotrebnadzor so that the supervisory authority takes measures. Now they are actively collecting signatures.
From the appeal of parents:
“Our children, coming from the school, complain that it is cold in the classes, they have to wear street clothes and learn dressed. We measured the air temperature in the classes - at the time of the audit amounted to only 13.8 degrees. In this regard, we decided that children at this temperature in school classes cannot undergo training. &In this regard, we ask you to attract supervisory authorities to conduct a temperature regime in the municipal budgetary educational institution “Basic Educational School No. 13” of the Asbestovo City District.

“My children also complain about the cold,” confirms Julia Matkarimova. -The first grader is very difficult, but the fifth grader son is a little more comfortable-they have a heater constantly included in their office. In October, we transferred to this school, we used to live in another area. And there have never been problems with heating the educational institution. The director’s words that the children are naughty and become warmer is very surprised at me. But what about the temperature regime standards in children's institutions? What does breathing have to do with it?
As soon as the parents' discontent was in local media, the press service of the Government of the Sverdlovsk region immediately connected to the discussion of the problem and voiced the position of officials on this issue.
OFFICIALLY
The press service of the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region:
“The Ministry of Education of the Sverdlovsk Region denied information about freezing children at school No. 13 101st ASBEST microdistrict. The ministry checked the premises of the school. The temperature is below the norm only in two offices, they are locked, classes are not held in them. ”
- When did they physically manage to conduct this test? - Ekaterina Kapustina is perplexed. - In the evening, the news came out, and in the morning officials are already reporting that there are no violations. They were not at school, but we were.

“Today, the temperature in the offices has normalized,” Ean Natalya Makurina, director of school No. 13, told reporters yesterday. “You probably need to understand if you left the apartment for two weeks, you have become cooler because there are no living souls? So here: at school it was January 11, when we left our holidays, cool. There were -25 on the street for two weeks, and there was no one at school, except for the watchman. The school has cooled down. You know that in the morning it is colder. Then children come, living organisms, and through the lesson already in classes +18, 19, 20 degrees. ”
While the director was talking about the successes of heat -power supply, high school students in the lesson wrapped themselves in winter jackets.
Interestingly, the struggle of parents for a warm school caused a completely unexpected reaction. The voices of those inhabitants of Asbesta who urge to leave this ungrateful activity and wait for warm spring days sound louder. These parents also act from good intentions, the main of which-no matter what happened ... Suddenly, due to complaints about the cold, no one will solve the issue with heating, and the school will simply be closed? What are we going to do?
“The school is heated by the forces of the new boiler room, which is literally across the road,” said Dmitry Gilyazov, a local resident. - Unfortunately, the power of the heat exchangers standing there is not enough to transfer heat to the coolant that enters the buildings. There are enough boilers, but the power of boilers is not.
According to Dmitry, not only the school is freezing, but the entire area heated by the forces of this boiler room. None of the building is observed in the normative and contractual heat schedule. It is important not to forget about the huge debts for gas.

“Officials are trying to save on a gas for boiler houses,” Dmitry is sure. - And what to save on, if not at school on vacation? Apparently, the school itself all days stood in the regimen - if only the heating system did not freeze. In my opinion, the issue with heating can be solved simply - to increase the number of heat exchanger plates. This is inexpensive for money. But no. They will be better to check and write reports to each other. It is clear that it is possible to “squeeze” the supply of heat to residential buildings so that by the time the commission arrives the temperature at school increases by a couple of degrees, then everything turns out well in the reports.
“Perhaps they are heaving well, I don’t understand this,” Julia Matkarimova argues, “but it still seems to me that our area was simply not ready for the heating season, and the frost of 30 degrees strengthened this problem.” The pipes leading from the boiler room to the school are mainly exposed, there are no heater, and therefore they cool quickly. As a result, we saw that we saw on thermometers. The air on the street with our money is to warm, not the rooms where our children study.
