Evgeny Usov, a St. Petersburg journalist, expert of the Environmental Rights Commission, a spokesman for the Russian Greenpeace, died. This was reported by the Green Coalition and the Union of Journalists of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

Evgeny Usov graduated from the faculties of journalism and environmental geography of St. Petersburg State University.
