After the start of the court, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Moscow Region said that the reason for its implementation was the absence of a Naval results of the test for coronavirus infection. According to the current rules, those who arrive from abroad have 72 hours to pass this test.
Dozens of countries demanded the immediate liberation of Alexei Navalny. The policy headquarters announced large -scale protests throughout Russia, which are scheduled for February 23.
Navalny himself, who returned to his homeland, despite the mortal danger threatening him, called on the fellow citizens not to be afraid and go out onto the streets. "What is this toad, sitting on the pipe. What are these bunker thieves most of all: you yourself know very well - people go out into the streets. <...> 20 years in a row, we are becoming poorer, our country will degrade, the education is getting worse, our health care is more wretched. This will not stop, except for ourselves," the politician in the video recorded in the walls of the police station said arrest.
