If Navalny would calmly flew to Moscow, left the airport, greeted the supporters and went home, Putin could continue to giggle at press conferences, saying “who needs it”, and various bloggers - to scribble the posts on the topic “Navalny does not pose any danger for Putin, the current regime has been firmly strengthened, and nothing threatens him for a long time.” Perhaps even someone could believe them.

However, the hysteria of the authorities - the roads overlap, the planes are deployed, 100,500 police officers are attracted to the most important special operation, they don’t let lawyers, they violate all possible and impossible laws, and so on - shows how much Putin is excited about Navalny, how he is afraid of it. And thus, with his own hands, he turns this figure into someone who must defeat it.

I don’t know how it works, all this is from the field of metaphysics, but intuitively I feel that it works like this, and I really hope that it will work in our case. ”
