The Moscow City Court considered appeals against fines to participants in the rally in support of Nikolai Platoshkin, which took place on July 25, 2020. This was reported by OVD-Info lawyer Ekaterina Selezneva, who defended the activists.
One of Selezneva's clients, Aleksandr Semchenkov, was fined 20,000 rubles by the city court. For another activist named Rudenko, the court reduced the fine to 10,000. Both Semchenkov and Rudenko were found guilty by the district court in the fall of 2020 under the article on violation of the rules for participation in the action and imposed fines of 20 thousand rubles.
