The Moscow City Court upheld the preventive measure against the activists of the "indefinite protest" Olga Misik and Ivan Vorobyevsky, accused of vandalism. This is reported by the coordinator of legal assistance OVD-Info Anna Romashchenko.

Lawyer from OVD-Info Sergei Telnov petitioned for the abolition of the measure of restraint in the form of a ban on certain actions or for a replacement with a milder one. The defense appealed the decision of the Tverskoy District Court of December 7, 2020.

Activists of the "indefinite protest" Olga Misik, Ivan Vorobyevsky and Igor Basharimov are accused of vandalism committed by a group of persons (part 2 of article 214 of the Criminal Code) in connection with an action near the Prosecutor General's Office: on the night of August 8, 2020, unknown people poured pink paint over the building of the department and put up a banner.
On the morning of August 9, 2020, came searches to the activists. First, they searched Vorobyevsky's apartment, then Misik's dacha, where Basharimov was also located. The detainees were taken to the Tverskoy police department, interrogated and sent to a temporary detention center. On August 10, the court appointed a ban on certain actions as a measure of restraint for all the defendants in the case. At the end of November, the Moscow City Court canceled the decision to extend the measure of restraint "for technical reasons."
