Participants in an open-ended action in support of the Crimean Tatars were detained in the Leningrad region

In the city of Murino, Leningrad Region, the police detained 7 participants in the Strategy-18 action in support of the Crimean Tatars. This is reported by the telegram channel "Yagrazhdanin!".

Among the detainees: Olga Smirnova, Vladimir Shipitsyn, Asan Mumdzhi, Ilya Tkachenko, Ilyas Eshref, Dmitry Negodin, Alexey Lein.

The detainees were taken to the 87th police department in Kuzmolovo.

21:30 One of the detainees, Asan Mumji, was taken out of the paddy wagon separately from other activists. He was taken for interrogation to the Center for Combating Extremism, the detainees report.

21:55 Asan Mumji was brought to the 16th police department. He is going to be charged with violations for the Strategy-18 picket on May 18, 2020. In connection with this picket on Shipitsyn, Smirnova and Tkachenko, protocols were already drawn up under the article on holding an uncoordinated action (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
