The Oktyabrsky District Court of Izhevsk fined Maria Poroshina, a participant in a picket against violence against women, for five thousand rubles. This is reported by "7 × 7".
Proshina was found guilty of participating in an uncoordinated rally (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) for the rally that took place on November 25. Then the activists of the Russian Socialist Movement (RSM) held a series of pickets against gender-based violence in the central square of Izhevsk. The rally was disrupted by provocateurs who followed the picketers and stood next to them with posters “What did you do to not be beaten?”.
During the meeting, the bailiffs detained one of the listeners, Natalya Skryabina. She was not allowed into the courthouse, which is why she called the court authorities. While she was talking on the phone, she was detained. She was taken to one of the premises of the court and a protocol was drawn up under the article on failure to comply with the legal requirements of the bailiff (part 2 of article 17.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The activist was held for more than three hours and released.
