
LLC "Rustozugol", engaged in the development of the Zashulayskoye Coal deposit, became a resident of the Transbaikalia Thor, the regional government reports.
According to the authorities, the volume of investments in the construction of a cut for the extraction of coal in an open way will amount to more than 20 billion rubles. The enterprise exit to the design capacity of 5 million tons per year is planned from 2024 to 2027.
“Rezugol” is a joint Russian-Chinese enterprise, created by Northtern Phoenics Enerdzhi Limmed Limited (subsidiary of the largest coal corporation China-China Energy) and LLC “EN+ Group) LLC, which is among the largest coal companies in Russia.
“A close location to the industrial zones of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, which will be the main consumers, will achieve the maximum operating efficiency of the project. Coal will also be supplied for the needs of energy and housing and communal services of the Trans -Baikal Territory, ”commented Eduard Ivashchenko, Director General of Rustozugol.
Now work is underway to prepare the design documentation for the start of the construction of a coal enterprise, the road and the acceptance park with a carbon carrier terminal of the Zashulan-Kopolny railway station with the adjacency of the Gyrchelun Railways station.

According to the managing company of the Transbaikalier TORS (subsidiary of KRDV JSC), the number of projects implemented on the Transbaikalia TOP reached 19 with the total volume of declared investments in the amount of over 173.5 billion rubles and plans to create 7,379 new jobs.
