The press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Olga Scheodanova specified that the victim was taken by an ambulance. “So far there is no information that someone died,” she said.
The Ministry of Health of Belarus noted that a person who suffered in Independence Square is unconscious. He received burns of more than half of the skin. "During the initial inspection, ambulance officers diagnosed him with more than 50% of burns. They transported the victim to the Republican Burnt Center," the department’s telegram channel reports .
“The circumstances of the incident are established. An investigative -operational group is working on the spot,” Natalya Ganusevich, an official representative of the Main Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee, told Interfax on Friday.
