Examination discovered signs of justification of terrorism in the comments of a resident of Perm

The Central Volga Regional Center for Forensic Examination of the Ministry of Justice discovered signs of justification of terrorism in the comments of a resident of Perm Roman Subbotin in VKontakte about the explosion in the Archangelsk Department of the FSB. This was reported by the OVD-Info by Subbotin himself.

Experts investigated four comments, which Subbotin allegedly left in 2018 under the publication in the community “29.ru Arkhangelsk News” on the explosion in the UFSB of Arkhangelsk. Two of them decided by experts, contain “psychological and linguistic signs of excuses for the explosion”.

The examination was carried out from November 16, 2020 to January 12, 2021. Subbotin was familiarized with its results on January 20. Now he is taking place in the case in the status of a suspect under an article on the justification of terrorism on the Internet (part 2 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code).

• The criminal case against Subbotin was opened on November 9, 2020. At the end of November, the security forces came to him with a search . Then he was told that on October 30, 2020, an unidentified person posted a comment publicly justifying terrorism. What publications were connected with the initiation of the case - law enforcement officers did not say.
• On the morning of October 31, 2018, in the FSB building in Arkhangelsk, a local resident Mikhail Zhlobitsky blew up a bomb. Three employees were injured, the young man himself died. A few minutes before the explosion in Telegram in the open chat of the “Speech of the rebel” there was a message about the attack. A criminal case of a terrorist attack has been instituted.
