Local activists believe that the detention is a reaction to Matveyeva's posts "against the president of Tatarstan."
13:34 OVD-Info was informed that Matveyeva was taken to police department No. 8. According to her husband, the blogger was beaten in the department, and also stripped to his underwear, put in a cell. At the moment, Matveeva and her husband are going for a medical examination.
