A resident of Nizhnevartovsk, Alexander Makarov, told the OVD-Info about beating in the police department, where he was called due to participation in a telegram chat dedicated to the action in support of Navalny.
According to Makarov, on the morning of January 21, a policeman called him and said that he needed to take Makarov's explanatory occasion of rallies. It was expected that the conversation would take place at the entrance of his house, but in the end, Makarov was taken to the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Nizhnevartovsk.
There he met a young man who, according to Makarov, is an administrator of a telegram chat dedicated to the action in support of Navalny on January 23. Makarov was in the office of the Center for Combating Extremism and saw there an employee who, according to the young man, monitored and double-checked this telegram chat.
In the center of "E" Makarov was several hours. They tried to take an explanatory one from him there, but he refused to tell anything. At some point, one of the police officers entered the office, who, according to Makarov, was the head of the department, and began to talk rudely and report with him because he was sitting with crossed legs.
“I tried to politely explain that it was so convenient for me, and to find out why he was talking to me at all,” says Makarov. - He took me by the jacket of jackets and, through my jacket and jacket, began to beat me in the face. Then he somehow twisted it so that I flew into the wall, then into the next table and so in a circle several times. Then he began to threaten that I would sit down, began to check my personal belongings in a very aggressive manner, he climbed into his pockets, without a protocol, threw all his things on the table from a decent distance. ”
All this happened in front of the rest of the police who did not react in any way. As a result, he told the police that he saw a group on VKontakte, dedicated to the upcoming actions, and crossed the link to Telegram chat. He threw the ATS-Info memo there about how to behave during detention. Makarov assumes that this was the reason for his detention.
After that, an employee of the prosecutor’s office came to the department and issued Makarov a warning with a list of a number of administrative and criminal articles by which he could be held accountable in case of violation of the law.

As a result, Makarov had a mark on the cheekbone due to blows. He was also not given a copy of the survey.
