
In St. Petersburg, before the start of the action for the liberation of Alexei Navalny, people are massively detained. Every few minutes, police take people away to the Auto Zaks of people on Senate Square, at the time of the publication of the news, at least 28 people were detained, the Paper correspondent reports.
Among the detainees are the authors and editors of several telegram channels, as well as the correspondent of the Mediazone David Frenkel. The journalists had identification signs: in special vests and sleeves for the press.
Also, two metro stations in the center of St. Petersburg were closed to the rally to the exit: Admiralteyskaya and Nevsky Prospekt (from the Griboedov Canal). The police officers are on duty at Palace Square and the Gostiny Dvor, there were settings.



The headquarters of Alexei Navalny announced “large -scale actions” for the liberation of the opposition in more than 40 cities of Russia. The events are not agreed with the authorities. In St. Petersburg, law enforcement officials were mobilized , police officers came home to activists and journalists, and students warned about the consequences of participation in protests.
