The ECHR awarded compensation in 1700 euros of the Kaliningrad anarchist in four months in a pre -trial detention center

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ordered Russia to pay compensation in 1700 euros to the Kaliningrad Anarchist Vyacheslav Lukichev, who spent four months in jail. This was reported to the North. Realiy by Lukichev himself.

In March 2019, Lukichev was fined 300 thousand rubles per post in Telegram. In May 2019, the Memorial Human Rights Office submitted a complaint to the ECHR in the interests of 24-year-old Kaliningran. The complaint stated that after his arrest there were an unreasonable preliminary conclusion, a long trial and a violation of the right to urgent consideration by the court of the legality of the detention. The Moscow District Military Court considered Lukichev’s complaint about extending the detention in custody within 26 days.

“I expected that the ECHR would make a decision in my favor, but did not think that everything would be so fast. And most importantly, there is not money, but a recognition of human rights violations from Russia. Now I am waiting for a decision on the second complaint regarding the court’s sentence,” said Lukichev.

On December 26, 2019, the memorial filed another complaint in the ECHR in the interests of Lukichev.

Human rights activists believe that the Moscow District Military Court violated Lukichev’s right to fair trial and freedom of expression. The complaint notes that after the detention, Lukichev could not use the services of a lawyer for more than a day, the defender was not during the search, interrogations, the maintenance of the FSB in the building, and confession and full -time bets. Lukichev in the FSB was interrogated without interruptions for sleep and food.

In March 2019, the anarchist from Kaliningrad Vyacheslav Lukichev was fined 300 thousand rubles per post in Telegram. He was accused of public justification of terrorism due to the text on the explosion near the FSB building in Arkhangelsk in October 2018. Before the sentence, for four months, Lukichev was under arrest in the Kaliningrad pre -trial detention center. In March 2018, he was released from the courtroom.
