The Department of the Investigative Committee for Bashkorostan opened a criminal case about the rape of an interrogator from Ufa, Gulnaz Fatkhlislamova, because of the text of Komsomolskaya Pravda. This was reported to Mediazona.
As the human rights organization said, the article “discloses information from the materials of the criminal case”: photographs of the interrogator in underwear during the examination, photographs of the identification protocol and expert opinion, as well as screenshots of personal correspondence from the investigative protocol were published. The author of the text, Ulyana Skoybeda, indicated the real last name, first name and patronymic of the victim.
Investigators also saw signs of a crime under the article on violating the secrecy of correspondence (Article 138 of the Criminal Code).
In a statement to the Investigative Committee, Fatkhlislamova noted that she did not give her consent to the dissemination of information about her personal life.
According to investigators, Fathislamova was raped at the Ministry of Internal Affairs department on October 30, 2018. First, two police chiefs were sentenced to seven years in prison, another police officer to six years. In the summer of 2020, two former heads of police departments were acquitted , and the third officer had his sentence reduced to four years.
