In Krasnodar, a criminal case was opened against a protester who took off his pants

The police in Krasnodar opened a criminal case under the article of hooliganism motivated by political hatred (clause b, part 1, article 213 of the Criminal Code) against a participant in the protests on January 23. He climbed onto the monument to the Kuban Cossacks, pulled down his pants and showed off his butt. This was reported by the head of the international human rights organization “Agora” Pavel Chikov.

The human rights activist’s telegram channel clarifies the details: the protester “put his underpants on the horse’s hoof, then took off his pants, exposing his buttocks, turned first towards the administrative building, slapping himself on them, which grossly violated public order.”

The person involved in the case, whose name is Vladimir Egorov, did not admit guilt. He is currently serving 10 days of arrest under the article on organizing an uncoordinated action (probably under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).
