SPbGEU can fire a professor for denial of the Holocaust
Professor SPbGEU Vladimir Matveev threatens the dismissal from St. Petersburg, due to the fact that he had previously denied the reality of the Holocaust at the webinar for teachers of the Leningrad region. This was reported by the Radio "Speak Moscow" with reference to the rector of the university Igor Maximtsev.
SPbGEU analyzes the situation with Matveev, the rector personally is engaged in checking. The Ethics Committee is currently collecting all materials on the professor and will recommend sanctions against the scientist. The final decision will be made when the “complete picture of what happened” appears, the rector said.

Vladimir Matveev also works in the RANEPA. Later, the press service of the University of St. Petersburg Diary reported that Matveev had already been fired.
