Mosoblsud left Navalny in custody

The Moscow Regional Court rejected the premises of Alexei Navalny into custody. It is reported by the New Gazeta.

The politician participated in a meeting on video conferences from the SIZO Sailor Silence.

According to the publication, the lawyer Olga Mikhailova stated in court that the exit meeting on the issue of arrest “took place with gross violations”: the defense of the meeting was notified a minute before the official start, the office of the head of the ATS was used as the judge’s office, and all documents were printed on police equipment. Mikhailova believes that such circumstances question the independence of the court.

On January 18, the Khimkinsky city court arrested Alexei Navalny for 30 days. The meeting was held in the building of the local police department, where politics was delivered after the detention at Sheremetyevo Airport.

Representatives of the Charité Berlin Clinic, where they delivered Navalny, said that they discovered the signs of a fighting poisonous substance from the Novice group in his body. In October, the organization to prohibit chemical weapons (OPCU) confirmed the presence of traces of poison from the Novice group in Navalny analyzes.
• On December 14, 2020, an investigation of a group of journalists from Bellingcat , The Insider and CNN with the participation of Der Spiegel and the Navalny Fund for Combating Corruption was published. The investigators found out that since 2017, a group of FSB officers with medical education, as well as the security forces at least three times, tried to poison Navalny with neuro-paralytic matter from the Novice group at least three times. The Investigative Committee refused to check the actions of the FSB officers, whom Navalny accused of poisoning.
