
The Moscow police announced that several legal entities were recognized as victims due to the action on January 23. This was reported by the press service of the department.
The release states that during the investigation of the case of road blocking (part 1 of Article 267 of the Criminal Code), police interrogated drivers whose cars were blocked during the action. The Ministry of Internal Affairs did not specify the amount of damage and the names of the companies that pass the victims.
“Legal entities are recognized as victims, whose representatives are also questioned in the criminal case. In addition, the amount of damage caused to enterprises of the city of Moscow is established, ”it was said.
Earlier in Moscow, a criminal case was opened on violation of sanitary standards for shares. In total, at least 15 criminal cases were instituted after protests. At least 28 people were injured. Four criminal cases were opened in Moscow under the article on the application of violence to police officers (Article 318 of the Criminal Code), as well as cases of hooliganism (213 of the Criminal Code), intentional damage to property (167 of the Criminal Code) and the case of blocking roads and sidewalks (part 1 of Article 267 of the Criminal Code).
On January 23, more than 100 Russian cities were held in support of Alexei Navalny. According to “MBH Media”, at least 110 thousand people took part in them.
