Chronicle January 30: main thing

In Moscow :

• the editor-in-chief of Mediazona, Sergei Smirnov, was detained - this is the first detention of the editor-in-chief of a federal media outlet related to protests; he was released on a promise to appear in court;
• arrested another defendant in the case of an attack on a security official;
• they arrested and interrogated Anna Wellicock, a friend of the FBK investigator Georgy Alburov, on a “sanitary case”;
• immediately after 7 days of arrest, FBK employee Nikolai Lyaskin was detained, and Sergey Telnov, a lawyer from OVD-Info, was not allowed to see him;
• half an hour before leaving the special detention center on a "sanitary case" Alexei Navalny's press secretary Kira Yarmysh was detained.

In St. Petersburg, the activist of the movement "Spring" Timofey Tumashevich was arrested for 7 days - he published the announcement of the action.

In Vologda, Yevgeny Domozhirov, chairman of the Together movement, was arrested for 5 days on charges of organizing the action.

In Volgograd, Yevgeny Kochegin, coordinator of Navalny's headquarters, was arrested for 10 days.

In Cheboksary, the coordinator of Navalny's headquarters, Semyon Kochkin, was arrested for 7 days.

in Murmansk Mass detentions of Navalny's supporters took place . The police did not let them drink and did not let them go to the toilet. A lawyer from OVD-Info was not allowed in for more than three hours.

In Krasnoyarsk, operational-search measures were taken from the activist and his phone was confiscated.

In Nizhny Novgorod, under pressure, the coordinator of Navalny's headquarters on camera resigned his position and urged him not to participate in uncoordinated actions. He later retracted the words about the pressure.

In Novosibirsk, another criminal case was opened on calls for riots in social networks.

In Vladivostok, the coordinator of Navalny's headquarters, Yekaterina Vedernikova, was searched despite the fact that she is in the status of a witness.

In Ussuriysk, the house of Vladislav Kazakov, a participant in the action on January 23, was searched. The search took place in the same case as at Vedernikova's.

In Astrakhan, three students were expelled for participating in the action.

In Tolyatti, they opened their own “snowball case” about an attack on police officers during an action.

In Tyumen, the landlord of the office of Navalny's headquarters asked the headquarters to vacate the premises no later than Sunday.

In Kursk, a criminal case was opened on the attack on a security official.

In Krasnodar, a former volunteer of Navalny's headquarters was arrested for 5 days. She has not been involved in political activism for three years.

In Kaliningrad, an employee of Navalny's headquarters, Maria Petukhova, was detained immediately after she had served 7 days of arrest. As early as January 27, Petukhova reported threats.

In Ryazan, after a search, Vyacheslav Igumnov, a participant in the rally on January 23, was detained. He is taken to Moscow and, presumably, charged under the article on hooliganism (Article 213 of the Criminal Code). At home, his computer and mobile were confiscated.
