Victor Koval died

Today, February 1, in Moscow, at the age of 73, the poet, actor and artist Viktor Koval died.

This was announced by the poet Lev Rubinstein.

Viktor Stanislavovich Koval was born in 1947 in Moscow, graduated from the Art School and the Faculty of Art and Graphic Faculty of the Moscow Polygraphic Institute.

He created illustrations for books, magazines and newspapers. In 1955-1961, he starred a lot in the cinema.

Since the 1970s, he has been known as a poet, in the late 1980s along with M. Aizenberg, S. Gandlevsky, T. Kibirov, D.A. Prigov, D. Novikov and L. Rubinstein entered the poetic group "Almanac".

It was published in various periodicals, collections and anthologies in Russia and abroad, participated in poetic festivals in Moscow, Yaroslavl, Volgograd, Samara, Togliatti, London, Cambridge, Gotyrga, Milan. The author of four poetic books.
