A Kostroma policeman drew up fictitious reports against relatives and paid the fines himself for the sake of “improving work performance”

In Kostroma, a former driver of the Galichsky PPS department drew up administrative protocols for relatives in order to “artificially improve his performance indicators.” This was reported on the website of the regional department of the UK.

As stated in the release, in February 2020, a police officer, “pursuing the goal of artificially improving his work performance,” drew up fictitious protocols on smoking in the wrong place (Part 1 of Article 6.24 of the Administrative Code) for his relatives and forged their signatures.

The security officer’s relatives were given fines, which the policeman paid himself, “to hide traces of the crime from relatives.” A case was opened against the driver for abuse of official powers (Part 1 of Article 285 of the Criminal Code).
