"They clenched my fists, threatened that they would break their fingers and hands." Muscovites detained after protests recall the night in the Don ATS

On February 2, when the court sent Alexei Navalny to a colony for 2 years and 8 months, almost 1,200 people were detained in Moscow who went to the action in support of the politician. Some protesters were beaten not only during the detention, but also after the police. Mediazona talked with people who found themselves in the Don police department, where some detainees were beaten, one of the girls was put on a bag on their heads, and each was forced to go through dactyloscopy and show the security forces all their correspondence in messengers.

On the day when the Simonovsky court decided to send to the colony of the opposition Alexei Navalny, more than a thousand people were detained in Moscow. The detentions continued in the early morning, when the process had not yet begun, until late at night, when the crowds of security forces were caught in dark alleys of those who sympathize with Navalny, beaten and sent to autozaki.

One of these autosaks, overflowing with young people, a little later 22:00 stopped at the Donskoy Department of Internal Affairs on Sevastopolsky Prospekt. First, young people were led from the car to the department, then there were three girls, there were three of them.

“There were two echics. We took turns led away from the assembly hall, in which we were together, to their office, ”Aleksey Smirnov recalls in a conversation with the Mediazone. - One of the Ashnikov was still nothing, the second was more loading, he tried to use force, the first stopped him. They forced to unlock phones, I showed him my telegram and a list of contacts, and he rewrote all my spam bots over the past month. I don’t know what he will do with them. I received a blow in the stomach, something, to be honest, is hard to remember, it was very late, and you are already in this state. ”

Despite the blow in the stomach, Smirnov says that “everything went more or less peacefully” with him: he did not see the beating of other detainees, but he heard screams from other premises, Denis Baskovsky speaks about the same Mediazone, he heard the cries “kill” about four in the morning.

Another detainee, Kirill Nefedov, considered that out of 17 people, seven were beaten in that autozak - those who refused to go through the first request of the security forces and unlock the phone.

One of them, the journalist Nikita Girin, told about this to Novaya Gazeta: “In the department, they tinned: they drove, the phones took off, fingers skated, explanatory employees, interrogation as witnesses in the criminal case of blocking the streets and violation of sanitary standards.”

The detainee Andrei Rumyantsev told OVD-Info that the security forces hit him in a solar plexus for refusing to unlock the phone and threatened to “break” him if they did not fulfill their requirements. The police detained by Denis Miskov beat their feet during the inspection, and when drawing up the protocol, they hit him several times on his head for asking “too many questions”.

At the same time, judging by the testimonies of the detainees of both young people and girls, one of them was Alena Kitaeva, a volunteer of the headquarters of Lyubov Sobol - a longtime ally Alexei Navalny.

Kitaeva told Mediazone that she was tortured in the Don Don ATS and beaten to find out the password from the phone. The girl called the security forces the code after she began to threaten her with a stamp.

“Given that they had already put on my head on my head and began to beat me, I said the password from the phone. The cart (telegram - MZ) did not have a password. I don’t know what social networks they went to, but I assume that everything that is possible, ”said Kitaeva.

Kitaeva claims that one of the security forces hit her with her feet several times and pushed her chair so that the girl fell.

“The package was from Pyaterochka, so white with a red tag. He was lying on the shelf with them, apparently, they were somehow prepared. There was no strangulation, but they held me, shook, bent my head, ”she recalled.

The lawyer of the OVD-Info Sergey Telnov told Mediazone that in the Simonovsky District Court, where all the detainees were taken from the Donskoy police department, Kitaeva called an ambulance. “They refused to hospitalize it, but they recorded something. They beat very carefully, as I understand it, and put on a package, so there is much no traces of the extremely, except for an extremely pale look, there is nothing special to fix. I believe that it is necessary to apply for the actions of police officers to the Investigative Committee, but we have not yet coordinated this, ”the defender explained.

Together with Alena Kitaeva, her sister Sasha was detained; She told Mediazone that at first she refused to take fingerprints, then she began to intimidate, twisted her hands behind her back and pressed her face to the table. “They clenched my fists for me so that I would unclench them, threatened that they would break my fingers and hands. Forcibly smeared this black ointment on his fingers, put a sheet, ”recalls Sasha. After that, the girl advised Alena not to resist when conducting dactyloscopy. The third girl, who spent the night in the Donskoy police department, promised to talk to the mediazone correspondent later-so far she is afraid to betray the history of publicity because of the upcoming court: most of that autozak is charged with participating in an inconsistent campaign, which created up to 15 days of arrest.

Mediazona sent a request to the press service of the metropolitan administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to comment on numerous messages about torture in the Department of Internal Affairs. In the attendant part of the department to the question of how the night passed, they suggested contacting the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate in the Southern District of Moscow-they did not respond to calls there.

Stefan Benedict, who also got into the Donskoy police department, said that he was not beaten, but threatened, forced to sign a clean protocol and conducted the same procedures as the other detainees: they were forcibly removed to the fingerprints and took a picture. Upon learning that the young man had dual citizenship, the police reported that an FSB officer would talk to him, and then “some person” really communicated with him.

“The feeling of some kind of anti-utopia,” says Benedict. On the morning of February 3, he and other Donskoy were brought to the Simonovsky District Court delivered to the Donskoy police department.

Part of the meetings have already passed. According to Kirill Nefedov, the cases of several detainees were considered without lawyers and appointed administrative arrests to everyone - from one to 12 days. The former Novaya Gazeta correspondent Nikita Girin was arrested for 14 days under the article on the rules of the rally.
