The Investigative Committee has charged the head of the Moscow headquarters of politician Alexei Navalny, Oleg Stepanov, in a “sanitary case,” Apology of Protest reported , citing lawyer Tatyana Molokanova.
Stepanov is accused of, the human rights organization clarified.
On January 23, Oleg Stepanov was detained during a rally in support of Navalny and taken to the Danilovsky police station. On January 29, the court sent him under house arrest.
The same preventive measure was chosen for the head of the Doctors' Alliance Anastasia Vasilyeva, Pussy Riot member Maria Alekhina and Navalny LIVE producer Lyubov Sobol.
