In Omsk, Sergey Maksimishin, deputy chief physician for anesthesiology and resuscitation of the city emergency hospital No. 1, died of a heart attack, where politician Alexei Navalny ended up in August after he became ill on board the Tomsk-Moscow plane. Maksimishin was 55 years old. “He lost almost all of his loved ones in a year. There are no special clues. The man was sick, worried about his relatives, he buried his parents this year. He died at work, in his intensive care unit, where he worked. He was in the hospital, he was placed in intensive care, and he died there, ”said Nazarova.

Earlier, with reference to the Omsk Ministry of Health, the death of the deputy chief physician of BSMP-1 was reported by NGS. “Under the guidance of Dr. Maksimishin, methods were developed and implemented for the treatment of patients with acute cerebral circulation disorders who are in critical condition,” Evgeny Osipov, chief physician of the emergency hospital No. 1, quotes the publication as saying.

Navalny got to the Omsk hospital on August 20 and stayed there until the 21st - after long negotiations, he was transferred to the Berlin clinic "Charite". Independent laboratories in Germany, France and Sweden found traces of a combat poison from the Novichok group in Navalny's body. Their findings were confirmed by the OPCW.

At the same time, Russia denies that the politician was poisoned. In particular, Alexander Murakhovsky, who at the time Navalny was admitted to the hospital was the head physician of the BSMP-1, claimed that the oppositionist allegedly had a metabolic disorder.
