On Sunday, Belarusian solidarity covered the whole world. First, Paris responded: “The Belarusians of France convey greetings to compatriots. We will always be with you! " In the morning, the Parisian diaspora gathered near the Embassy of Belarus with white-red-white flags. “We are here to remind the officials: all the perpetrators in repressions will be punished,” the rally participants said.
Then Vilnius and Riga turned on. In Vilnius, the Belarusians supported the repressed ones: they launched 228 paper boats along the Vilnyal River, on each of which the name and surname of the political prisoner were written. The inhabitants of Vilnius came out not only with boats and flags - one of the participants in the action held in their hands a poster with the inscription "For six months now, Sukhai land for Sasha." Lithuania President Gitanas Nauceda wrote on his Twitter: “Lithuanians know what it means to fight for freedom. Lithuania strongly supports the desire of the Belarusian civil society to live in a free and democratic country! ”
And in Riga, Daugava became white-red-white. The Riga City Duma and the local LMT mobile operator used drones to draw a flag of free Belarus right on the river, which flows in both countries, only in Belarus is called Western Dvina. In Prague, a large white-red-white flag was hung on a parliament building. The wishes of the victory to Belarusians were addressed by the Prime Minister of Latvia Kroshyanis Karins, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba, mayor of Warsaw Rafal Tshaskovski.
In Boston, the Belarusians celebrated both the day of solidarity and the birthday of Tadeusz Kostyushko at the same time. Both that and the other were congratulated by the senator from the state of Massachusetts Eda Mark. In Canada, Belarusians entered the campaigns in Toronto, Montreal, Winnipga, Ottava, Kalgary, Vancouver, Edmonton. By the way, they came out with both white-red-white flags, and calls to free political prisoners, and with the words support for Russian protests: on some posters it was written “Stop Putin's Terror!”.
At the same time, in Minsk they chanted: "From Khabarovsk to Brest there is no place for dictatorship!"
On Sunday, white-red-white flags could be seen on the streets of Japan, Finland, Great Britain, Romania, Norway, France, Mexico, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Estonia, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, USA, Canada, Australia. And in the evening, state-owned executors from 24 countries recorded the anthem of the Magnet Magnes. When you listen to this anthem, which is singing simultaneously in many countries, it becomes clear that everything was not in vain, that the world was arranged correctly and that it is with us.
Solidarity is very simple.
