Seven more Novosibirsk residents died from coronavirus

The number of patients with coronavirus in the Novosibirsk region exceeded 33.2 thousand. Seven patients died per day.

“Seven more patients have died: men aged 70, 81 and 82, as well as women aged 65, 70 73 and 84. In total, 1288 people died from coronavirus in the region, ”the operational headquarters of the Novosibirsk Region reported on February 8.

Another 124 patients are in intensive care. 26 people remain on ventilators.

128 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed per day. The total official number of cases reached 33297, 30979 people were discharged.

There are 2,362 Novosibirsk patients in hospitals in the region with suspected coronavirus or already confirmed diagnosis. Among them are 11 children.

More than 3.1 thousand residents were under medical supervision.

The real death rate from coronavirus in the region, as Taiga.info wrote , could be much higher. Only in April-November, according to Rosstat, 1,576 people died directly from COVID-19, and another 537 from concomitant diseases, the coronavirus had a significant impact on the course of some of these cases.
