The English teacher Natalia Elgin, who taught in the classroom of the son of Governor Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, was fired after she complained on the personal page of the head of the region on a low salary. For 12 hours of classes per week, she received about 12,000 rubles. Full rate in 18 hours - 14,700 rubles.

“Hello, dear governor, why do I have a zp at school 12,000 rubles, albeit half -time? I am a professional teacher with a Cambridge certificate and experience in China. Do you think this is a normal training for teaching your children? By the way, your son is studying in my class, ”Elgina wrote in the comments on the Governor's page.

After that, she was called to the authorities, the employees of the EE center were interrogated, then they fired, and in parallel-they also arranged an injury in the absenteeism of Telegram channels.

Today she intends to challenge her dismissal in court and bring offenders accountable for slander.

The state did not ask you to become teachers

When appointing to the region in 2019, Mikhail Podvozhaev said that his social networks are a tool for interacting with the population. On February 5, at the Forum of the Russian Association for Public Relations PR 2021, the head of the region said that every day he allocates at least half an hour to “in order to read comments, answer questions, give instructions”. However, for a young teacher, this tool seems to have turned into a “repressive” one.

As Natalya Yelgina told Novaya Gazeta, she decided to write on a personal page on Instagram to the governor after she looked at the investigation of Alexei Navalny about the palace in Gelendzhik. "I was indignant at all this luxury and gold runs." She was offended that she was receiving such a low salary. And then I read the post of Mikhail Razvozhaev, in which he urged young people not to go to an unauthorized rally.

According to Natalia Yelgina, in the rally on Nakhimov Square (the first mass action in the history of Sevastopol against Vladimir Putin), she did not participate - she did not scream slogans, did not stand with a poster. Together with her friend and her daughter, she came to an exhibition of equipment, which the governor himself visited on this day. The teacher with a friend took pictures in the cabins, talked with the head of the Night Wolves motorcycle club Alexander Zaldostanov about motorcycles. On the same day, the teacher missed a call from the head teacher of the gymnasium. Sunday passed without excesses. And on Monday - it began.

Right in the first lesson, Natalia called the director of the gymnasium Angela Evgushchenko and called to her office. After the first lesson, the director arranged for her a spit. “What are you doing,” she said. “They call me and say that I have ill -bred teachers, everyone tells me that you are non -pound!” - quotes the teacher of the school principal. During the conversation, Elgin agreed to remove the comment under the governor’s post and “not to run into problems”, “so as not to break my career.” But this did not help.

January 27, on Wednesday, the head of the Department of Education, Elena Bogomolova, gathered directors of Sevastopol schools. At the meeting, says English teacher, director of gymnasium No. 3, Angel Evgushchenko reported for the "incontinence of a young teacher." Later, Natalia tried to get to the Department of Education, but no one could (or did not want to) accept and listen to her.

On Thursday, January 28, the situation continued to hesitate. First, one of the lessons with the inspection came the head teacher Lyudmila Krylovetskaya and school director Angela Evgushchenko. After listening to the lesson, they made a conclusion in which they criticized the methods of teaching Natalia. After that, the head teacher and director called a young teacher “on the carpet”. According to Natalia Elgina, the head teacher captured her in high colors. Natalia was told to sign a notification that she was fired since January 30. Moreover, the formal cause of dismissal is not even in “unprofessionalism” (and, of course, not in a comment), but in the fact that supposedly six months earlier, another teacher, the position of which she replaced. Natalia assures that after her dismissal, the teacher came out and quit February 1.

In a conversation with the “new” head teacher of school No. 3, Lyudmila Krylovetskaya confirmed that formally Natalia was fired, because another employee came out of the decree. At the same time, she did not confirm and did not refute that she quit from February 1. According to the head teacher, they initially took Natalia at the full rate, but she “refused to lead the tenth grade, and also abandoned the classroom leadership, and also did not want to take more than eight hours, but preferred private tutorial, where they pay more.” According to her, some methods of a young teacher did not meet the standards of the school.

According to her, Natalya also received complaints from parents.

On February 8, the school leadership published an official statement that accused Natalia of “violation of labor discipline”, “unwillingness to take additional burden”, “evading meetings with the leadership of the Department of Education”, which allegedly wanted to employ it to other schools. The young teacher refutes this statement, and intends to sue for unlawful dismissal.

Interrogation at school bench

It would seem that the teacher is worse than dismissal in a small city? But the story did not end there. After the head teacher and director on January 28, security forces came to Natalia. For a “preventive conversation”, teachers were specially removed from the lesson (the audio recording of the conversation with the security forces is at the disposal of “New”).

They were dressed in a civilian. Only two were introduced from them: the head of the department for the fight against extremism, Major Maxim Fedtsov and the captain Yuri Baibakov, and when Natalya Elgina asked who was the third, she was told that this was “just a trainee”, he “only studies” and “just sit here”. Formally, the visit was explained by the need to present “a warning about the inadmissibility of the organization of unauthorized rallies”. The security forces brought the teacher to tears, but they did not even really let them calm down and continued the "preventive conversation."

The major said that they received a message that Natalia "would call for an unauthorized mass event in support of Alexei Navalny." The conversation was also about the fact that she allegedly urged schoolchildren to go to an inconsistent campaign, but not in the support of Alexei Navalny on January 31, but in her support due to dismissal and low salaries.

“Neither I nor someone else can ban on Alexei Navalny, this is your personal position,” continued the head of the department for combating extremism.

- Can you provide evidence that I am calling, do you have evidence? The teacher asked.

“I came to talk with you and find out, I don’t blame you,” continued Major Fedtsov.

- I do not support either Putin or Navalny, I just want me to have a higher salary. What is your salary, Comrade Major?

The tactics of the conversation changed: the security forces showed sincerity (one of them said that his father had a rural teacher, the other complained that he had a “salary of 16 thousand”, although he was a major, and the load was furious), they said dryly. Then, one of the "Ashnikov" decided to explain to Yelgin the features of the Law on rallies and advised "to submit a notification to the Government of Sevastopol if she wants to go to a rally or picket."

The conversation was quite steep, Natalia often interrupted the security forces, inserted remarks about the low salaries of teachers, sometimes cried. She was persistently recommended "not to spoil relations with people." One of the "Ashnikov" stated that the behavior of a young teacher looks like she wants to impose a "new paradigm to children, that you need to go scream, smash, break." She was advised to solve the problem with the salary with the help of “official appeals”. The teacher explained that “active opposition” would not lead to anything good. In addition to fines, there is a ban on engaging in certain types of activities, including pedagogical. It will not even be possible to deal with tutoring. Still security forces forbade Natalia to publish information about their conversation on social networks.

“I just warn you, I hope you are a prudent person. If journalists are posting somewhere, I am officially announced to you now, this record is being posted somewhere: on the Internet somewhere, in the media <...> Then you can be held accountable, ”said the security forces.

The Center for Combating Extremism refers to the police, and, in accordance with Article 8 of the Federal Law “On Police”, as well as in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of December 31, 1993 No. 2334 “On additional guarantees of citizens' rights to information”, withdrawing and recording conversations with police on audio, and also publishing these records are not prohibited, but officially permitted. Unless, of course, we are not talking about GOSTIN.

Better dialogue

On February 5, New Gazeta reported that the dismissed teacher went to a single picket to the Sevastopol government building. After that, insults in Telegram channels, which are associated with the domestic political block of the Sevastopol government, rained down on Natalia Yiglin. The same channels, shortly before the attack on the teacher, poisoned the correspondent of Novaya, even threatened to kill because of the coverage of rallies in support of Navalny.

Sources of the "New" connect the activities of Telegram Ferme with an adviser to the governor of Sevastopol on domestic politics Sergei Tolmachev and political scientist Sergei Yukhin. Mr. Tolmachev himself, in correspondence with Natalia Elgina, denied his involvement in the telegram channels grid. The head of the Department of Information Policy of the Government of Sevastopol Irina Yukhina also refuted any connection with them.

The New Gazeta asked Mikhail Razvozhaev to comment on the situation: did he read the teacher’s commentary, did he give an order to dismiss a young teacher, what was thinking about her further persecution? Does he intend to make an initiative to increase salaries to teachers.

“I read the teacher’s commentary,” the governor of Sevastopol explained. - Naturally, he immediately instructed to find out the issue of the teacher’s salary. It turned out that Natalya is working at school for several hours a week and combines teaching with the work of the tutor and photographer.
