Frosts in St. Petersburg will last until the middle of next week. This was announced by the chief weather forecaster of St. Petersburg Alexander Kolesov.
According to Alexander Kolesov, a little warming is expected on the weekend, and next week frosts will retreat. The main weather forecaster noted that this weather is quite common for February, even though the temperature is lower than the norm.
Kolesov added that February in 2006 and 2012 in St. Petersburg was much colder.
2020 became the warmest in St. Petersburg in the history of observations. Watch the infographic "Papers" about the weather last year.
