The most famous black lists in the history of Russian rock music are dated 1984-1985, the era of Chernenko, who set out to reduce the number of groups in the country to zero. Shevchuk moved to Moscow and recorded the ingenious album “Time” with Moscow musicians, which could not appear in Ufa. Aguzarova returned a few months later, and everything continued. The groups changed the names, conspiracy, went underground, but continued to play and sign up.
Any album of prohibited groups diverged through the country instantly. There were so many copies that they are not amenable to accounting. Yes, and the lists themselves served for music lovers something like a hit parade:

The same effect can give prohibitions today if the organs are pressed on groups that support protest and require freedom to Navalny.
More than half of the video statements before January 23 were recorded by musicians: Makarevich, Max Pokrovsky, Aloever, Spirin from “Cockroaches!”, Noise, who recently was canceled in revenge for his activity, Anacondaz, Muatters, Louna, SPACH, KASA, CCA, Volodya Kotlairovari (“Porn films”) ... An example of “porn films” is especially indicative here. These are Dubna Panks, who managed to become stars without the support of television channels, radio stations and promoters with big money, these are the guys who made themselves. Not so long ago, almost every second concert was canceled for them. The group changed platforms three times in the evening, but still played. And she played to the ice palace in St. Petersburg, to the air near Urgant.
In 2018, they boycotted the “Invasion” festival from antimilitarian reasons. That is, they deliberately abandoned the audience of 200 thousand and risked losing the main Russian-speaking rock-air-“Our Radio”. Did it kill them? No, it only made it stronger. “Porn films” and dozens of other new groups have managed to rebuild the alternative system for the distribution of music and the organization of concerts for these years, truly independent. They say that one of them, after a series of tough cancellation, gave a concert in the sauna. But he gave, and people came. These guys are without brakes.
Anyway, what can be done to musicians who can record hits in a garage with a budget of 10 thousand rubles?
“Cockroaches!”, Noise, “bloodstress”, louna, The Hatters - of those teams that are able to collect thousands of halls, give stadium concerts. And how many headliners did not record any appeals, but adhere to the same views that those who recorded? You will prohibit them - and all the large sites of the country will cure, because there is practically no one to replace them now. Clubs will not be able to collect the cashier and pay rent - the landlords will quarrel. Numerous instances that are engaged in gaps from clubs will quarrel. And this is not to mention spectators who definitely will not love power after such measures. Let me remind you that in the eighties millions of young people became enemies of Soviet power not at all because of the Stalinist repression or lack of private property. The only reason: this power forbade them to listen to their favorite music.
Demand and professionalism are strong trump cards, it is difficult to beat them, even having an administrative resource. A recent example is Solovyov’s collision on Alexander Gudkov from the Channel One, who recorded the clip “Aquadiscot” based on Navalny’s film. Soloviev answered Andrei Markov, editor -in -chief of the project “Culture of dignity”: “Okay, to dismiss Gudkov. And who will come to his place? Such are frostbitten? Whoever their compilers studied - the Spanish jealousrs of faith or the Soviet experts in linguistics - the stupidity of the venture has long been confirmed by history. Everyone who made up such columns or columns, everyone who carefully brought new names and logs was defeated. The empires fell, the executioners were dispelled, states based on fear are cursed and forgotten.
So why again?
For the sake of petty readiness to take money - for cinema, performance, museum, project? The pillars of the state, they are the servants of the people, are still holding on simple logic: for budget money it is necessary to praise the budgetary. If we give you, so you give us? Something in this is irreparably backward, feudal. Doomed, that is. And grimly petty.
We can only guess who is nervous that I rushed to put pressure on the unhappy orders: to cut the sides from the TNT product, Shmykova’s page from the QIM website, not to give it, “these people are defaming their homeland for American money” - under the jubilant cries of garbage specialtherapists. Previously, the lists were sent to the first departments of the Soviet offices, now they hang in the clouds. Electronic.
