The court fined the Ingush mufti Isa Khamkhoev was fined under the article on violation of the rules for organizing the action (part 1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) because of his speech at a meeting with imams. about it . writes Fortanga

The judge imposed a fine of 10 thousand rubles and stated that the meeting held on November 21, 2020 was an uncoordinated public event.

The participants of the meeting, as Khamkhoev explained to Fortanga, were preparing a collective appeal to Vladimir Putin demanding that the defendants in the “Ingush case” be released from arrest, and that the Prigorodny District, currently part of Chechnya, be returned to Ingushetia.

Khamkhoev's defense filed an appeal against the fine.
