The new composition of the government of Mario Draga has been announced in Italy

In Italy, a new composition of the government has been announced, which President Sergio Mattarell instructed to form Mario Draga.

The new government retained the posts of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, Culture and the Defense Department from the previous cabinet of the resignation of Giuseppe Conte. In total, 23 people entered the new office.

Earlier on Friday, the former head of the European Central Bank of Drage agreed to head the new government of Italy.

Prior to this, during the week, Mario Drago was working to enlist the support from various political forces to form a "government of national unity." The main task for him is the resolution of the situation with the pandemia of the coronavirus, which led to serious economic consequences. Dragons supported, in particular, the populist party of the "Movement of the Five Stars". Its representatives got the largest number of seats.

Next week, as expected, in the parliament of Italy, a vote will take place to make trust in the new government.

Giuseppe Conte resigned on January 26. This was the result of the departure from his office of the party of the former Prime Minister Matteo Renzi due to disputes about the strategy for the fight against coronavirus and recession in the economy.
