Why medicines constantly disappear from Russian pharmacies

The deficiency of drugs was especially actively discussed in the pandemic, but in fact this is a systemic problem . In addition to coronavirus, the deficit has three main reasons:

• The state is trying to reduce prices. Pharmaceutical companies take drugs from the market so as not to lose profit.
• Gosakups provide Russian drugs with such good conditions that foreign suppliers cannot compete with them.
• To register or re -register medicine in Russia, you need to understand Russian laws, and this is not always simple.

So far, each of these problems is corrected pointwise after the patients open letters and publications in the media. We need systemic changes in the laws.
