Petersburg: The deputy head of Lenenergo was arrested in the fraud case for 167 million

The court in St. Petersburg arrested until April the deputy general director of Lenenergo Alexei Goryachev. He is accused of major fraud. This was reported by the United press service of the city courts.

According to the investigation, in 2015 Goryachev, together with the deputy general director of NT -Inziniring, Evgeny Osipov prepared an estimate for the construction of two capital facilities on Vasilievsky Island with an overestimated cost of a power cable worth more than 167 million rubles. They ordered money at their own discretion. Osipov was arrested until April 11.

This is the second criminal case of fraud on an especially large scale against the deputy head of Lenenergo. In May 2020, Goryachev was arrested for two months. According to the investigation, Lenenergo purchased a cable for two lines from the Vasileostrovskaya substation to the Krestovskaya substation for the Zenit Arena substation.
