Perseveration apparatus landed on Mars

The Persevrance Mars Road successfully landed on the Red Planet at 23:55 Moscow time. A direct broadcast from the NASA Central Department Store was conducted in the agency YouTube channel.

Persevrance sat in the Ezero crater, located in the eastern hemisphere of Mars north of the equator. This territory is called the island plain. Here, as scientists suggest, there was a river before, and the Mark Road will be able to collect materials that are interesting for research.

Persevrance, which means “perseverance”, was launched on July 30 from Cape Canaveral in Florida as part of the Mars-2020 mission. This program cost $ 2.4 billion. The name for the Marsailing was invented by American schoolchildren - for this NASA organized a traditional competition in which about 28 thousand children took part.

It is assumed that the Mars Road will collect samples of Martian soil, which will take and deliver the next expedition to the ground. On board Persevrance carries an electric drone-verticle rechargeable from the onboard network. If everything goes according to plan, the mission will end in 2031.
