Before that, Vasilyeva warned the investigator and the Federal Penitentiary Service about a trip to her daughter.

Later, the Federal Penitentiary Service stated that on that day the investigator in writing allowed the head of the trade union to go to his daughter on his own. Dzhulai denied this information and stated that there was no written permission from the investigator.

Today, the Moscow City Court also changed the place of house arrest for another person involved in the "sanitary case" Oleg Navalny - this was requested by the defendant's defense. Now Navalny will be located not at the place of registration, but at the place of actual residence.

Anastasia Vasilyeva and Oleg Navalny are accused of “inciting to violate sanitary and epidemiological rules, which created a threat of mass disease of people” (part 1 of article 236 of the Criminal Code with the application of part 4 of article 33 of the Criminal Code).

The investigation believes that the defendants in the case invited Muscovites to participate in a rally in support of Alexei Navalny on January 23 and thus created a threat of a massive COVID-19 disease.
