Users on Thursday, February 18, complained about failures in the work of Yandex services, according to Downdetector data. Problems were reported by residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg and large cities of the Urals.
The Downdetector service shows that the failures began around 13:00 Moscow time. Among the complaints, 80% are devoted to problems with the site, 14% - with the mail, and 4% - with the electronic money service. In addition to Russian users, residents of Belarus also encountered problems.
“A number of users may have had short-term difficulties accessing taxi services,” a Yandex spokesperson said. “Our specialists are working to eliminate the difficulties.”
The day before, on February 17, a large-scale failure occurred in the operation of the Tinkoff and Tinkoff Investment services and lasted at least four hours. As compensation, the bank declared February 18 a day of free trading.
