An activist was detained near the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Moscow

In Moscow, an activist was detained near the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus, who asked not to publish his name. He himself told OVD-Info about this.

The activist came to the embassy for a meeting of like-minded people who support the Belarusian protesters. He was detained and taken to the Basmanny police department for a preventive conversation.

On February 21 , the detainee, according to his acquaintance, “was broken through in the registration database, issued a warning” and released without protocol.

• In the Republic of Belarus, after the presidential elections on August 9, 2020, mass protests began: the protesters believe that the election results were rigged in favor of the current head of state, Alexander Lukashenko.
